C. S. Lewis Quote

Aim at heaven and you will get Earth thrown in, aim at Earth and you will get neither. C.S. Lewis said so many thought provoking things. What I love about this quote is that it reminds me to notice all the joy I have here on Earth because of my relationship with God. The fact that I get to spend forever in heaven is amazing but that is not all I get from believing that Jesus died on the cross for me. The joy I get from helping others, the peace that I find from knowing that my life is in His hands, the excitement of being God’s helper on Earth, I would miss all of this. So like C. S. Lewis said, when you believe in heaven and strive to live the life God wants for you your life on Earth will be better. On the other hand when we live our life focused on “worldly” values without God not only do we not get heaven but also our life on Earth is so much less then it could be. Take a moment to thank God for all he has brought into your life!
