FAITH
Why is faith a critical component to a healthy lifestyle? One reason is that FAITH (a deep trust in, and pursuit of, God) is an antidote to stress — a huge source of many adverse effects on your health.
When you come to know God, you begin to understand that He created you, loves you unconditionally, forgives you and wants you to live life to the fullest with Him. That’s His ultimate goal. We are separated from Him by sin and He had His son Jesus pay the price for that sin so that we can be reunited with Him.
God does not promise an “obstacle free” life, but He does promise that as long as you follow Him, you will experience love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. I can testify to the fact that the more I get to know and trust God, the more I experience the “fruit of the spirit” in my own life.
One way to start moving closer to God is through prayer and worship. During our workouts you will hear great Christian music that honors God and helps you focus on Him. For example, during our stretching, you will hear scripture that encourages you to take a moment to pray.
Faithful Workouts is a great avenue to honor God with your body and your time —because you are overlapping two important activities into one – not a bad idea given our time-crunched lifestyles.
