Not only is music entertaining and relaxing, but it can also help to reduce the symptoms of anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. In fact, listening to music can can do wonders for our mental health, to combat depression, simply trying to reduce stress and boost our overall well-being.
Much like exercise, music has been shown to increase serotonin levels in our brain and is responsible for elevating our mood, improving sleep quality and can even boost memory. Of course, combining a great exercise routine and music together can make for one amazing workout!
There are many physical benefits to yoga and stretching. It can reduce back pain, improve muscle tone and increase flexibility. Our Faithful Yoga exercises are centered around keeping our minds and hearts focused on Jesus and there is no better way to do that than with relaxing Christian music.
