As the old hymn says, “Turn your eyes toward Jesus (and your eternal home with him) and the things of this earth will grow strangely dim”.

Something to Think About

1,200 calories a day is arbitrary. We now know that our bodies are complex and there are many factors that contribute to weight loss: metabolism, nutrient absorption, activity level, quality of food, hormone levels, genetics, etc. We are all very unique in our energy level requirements.

When choosing what to eat we need to look for nutrient dense foods because the total number of calories is less important than what is in the calories we are eating.
