Something to Think About

Just because a food label says “Natural” does not necessarily mean it’s healthy. The FDA has considered the term “natural” to mean: “nothing artificial or synthetic has been included in, or has been added to, a food that would not normally be expected to be in that food.” So check the ingredients in the foods you buy. Look out for words you don’t recognize and avoid products with more than 5 ingredients. When buying meat and poultry make sure you are looking for grass-fed, no hormones, and for fish that is wild-caught.
