2-3 apples, sliced thin
2 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon apple pie spice
1/4 cup slivered almonds (optional)
Unsweetened coconut flakes (optional)
Melt butter and toss with sliced apples in a large bowl. Transfer to an air fryer (390 degrees), cook for 10-15 minutes to desired doneness. Stir or flip apples half-way through cooking. In the meantime, toast slivered almonds on the stove in a frying pan until slightly browned. When apples are done, top with toasted almonds and unsweetened coconut flakes. Can also bake in traditional oven on a cooking sheet.
