  • 1 lb chopped babaco (can use pineapple instead :)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 old spice


Chop up your babaco into small, bite-sized pieces and set aside. Heat up a pan on medium-high heat. Add in water, sugar, cinnamon, and old spice. Don’t let it boil, just simmer down. Pour mixture over chopped fruit (pineapple works well, too,). Add cloves at the end and enjoy!
