Golden Milk is a tasty, sweet and slightly spicy health drink that can help ease inflammation, help with digestion and even help clear up your skin!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 inch of ginger peeled root, cut up into chunks(for flavor)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon stick
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions:

In a small pot, add all the ingredients and spices into the pot. Put pot over medium heat, and then allow milk to simmer. Continue cooking for about 2 minutes and continue stirring the mixture so it doesn’t burn. Take off heat, pour into mugs and enjoy!

Serves 1 (1 large mug or two small ones)
