• 6 cups organic oats 
  • 2/3 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 
  • 1/2 cup chopped slivered almonds
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or other dried fruit with no sugar or sodium dioxide added
  • 1 tblsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup 100% orange juice 
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tblsp. vanilla extract


Preheat oven to 300°. Put oats, flaxseed, walnuts and almonds iin a large bowl. In a small pot melt coconut oil. Add orange juice, honey and vanilla. Stir together. Pour liquid over oat mixtures and stir well. Put oats in a large baking dish and spread mixture out. Cook for 20 minutes and stir. Cook an additional 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and stir in dates and cranberries. Cook completely and then place in an airtight container. Will keep up to 2 weeks.
