• 1 small jalapeño - seeded and minced
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 2 tblsp maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 large or 2 small pears - diced in small pieces


Put all the ingredients in a pot, cover and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes or until pears are very soft. Let sauce cool and then plate and serve! Delicious alongside some fish like salmon (as shown in the picture), on a sandwich, with pork or chicken, or even with some crackers on a cheese platter!
