• 2 cups green beans, tips trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable broth (if you are gluten sensitive be sure to use gluten-free broth. Pacific is a good brand)
  • 1/4 cup almonds, slivered or sliced
  • Salt and ground black pepper


In a pan, saute the green beans in broth until tender-crisp. Add the almonds and stir. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste.

Serves 2 as a sidedish
