• Ground Spicy Italian sausage - 1/2 pound (make sure your sausage does NOT have nitrates, if eating gluten-free ask your butcher if your sausage is gluten-free)
  • Garlic - 1 lg cloves
  • Potatoes - 1 large sliced in bite size pieces (organic is best. If not organic you might want to peel potatoes)
  • Chicken or Vegetable broth - 16 ounces (again organic if possible)
  • Kale - 2 cups chopped
  • 1/2 ┬áCup Milk (reg or oat is best)
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste


Put sausage and garlic in a pot and completely cook the sausage. Add sliced potatoes and chicken broth into pot and cook over medium heat for 15  min. or until potatoes are slightly soft. Add chopped kale and milk to the pot. Cover and cook until kale is wilted. I can make a meal out of this soup!!
