Ingredients
- 1 pound beef (any cut; cut thin)
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (gf options such as Tamari will work )
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- ½ tsp ground ginger (ground white pepper)
- 1 ½ tsp ground cumin
- 1 egg egg white
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 1 ½ tsp olive oil (can substitute sesame oil)
Instructions
- Slice beef into thin, long strips, and then soak it in cold water for 10 minutes. Rinse it under running water. Use a kitchen towel or paper towel to dry the meat.
- Stir one egg white and baking soda and brush onto the meat. Let sit for 20 minutes.
- Blend salt, soy sauce, ground ginger, ground white pepper, and ground cumin in a separate bowl.
- Add the meat to the marinade and let marinate for 20-30 minutes.
- Pour oil into a hot pan or wok with high heat, add the meat, and stir fry for 4-5 minutes until the meat is brown. Enjoy!
