Ingredients
- ½ tomato (Heirlooms are a great option)
- 1 ½ tsp red onion (diced)
- 1 ½ tbsp mozzarella (fresh, cubed)
- 1 tbsp basil (fresh)
- 1 ½ tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 ½ tsp olive oil
- salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Cut tomatoes into thick slices (approximately 4 slices/tomato).
- Place the tomatoes on a platter. Cover tomatoes with onions, mozzarella, and basil.
- Drizzle with vinegar and oil. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
