Ingredients 

  • ¼ lb Italian sausage (ground, spicy)
  • ½ clove garlic
  • ½ large potato (sliced in bite-size pieces)
  • 8 oz chicken broth (or vegetable - organic if possible)
  • 1 cup kale (chopped)
  • ¼ cup milk (reg or oat is best)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Put sausage and garlic in a pot and completely cook the sausage.
  • Add sliced potatoes and chicken broth into pot and cook over medium heat for 15 min. or until potatoes are slightly soft.
  • Add chopped kale and milk to the pot. Cover and cook until kale is wilted. I can make a meal out of this soup!!

  1. This is part of Meal Plan 7 (Day Two)—commenting on this recipe because the breakfast recipe for this day is ‘missing’ (gives a not found error message) – the Almond Butter Smoothie Bowl. Tried to find separately by searching all recipes but could not locate it.
