Time to clear the decks, burn the ships, however you want to say it! No more saying "I'm a sugar addict" or "I can't help it if I have sugar cravings". Today is a new day and it's time for you to start saying "I am no longer dependent on sugar" - start saying it NOW even if you don't logically think it's true yet.. words matter.
Challenge
Today I talked about the health effects of sugar: brain fog, not sleeping well, achy joints, chronic illness, dementia. These are all things that can keep us from going out and sharing the Good News. We need to take care of our bodies as well as our spiritual health.
Let's make a pact - this is not just about a 10 day challenge it's about healthier choices moving forward! Let's finish this race STRONG knowing we've done all we can to be obedient to God.
Challenge for today: Get the sugar out of your house! Load up on healthy snacks not loaded with added sugar or artificial sweeteners. You've already paid for the sugary foods - that's done - the question is "is it going into your body and the body of your loved ones - or are you going to throw it out and start fresh?"
