Ingredients

  • cup blueberries
  • ½ tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger minced
  • 2 tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 slice lemon
  • ¾ cup sparkling water no added sugar or artificial sweeteners

Instructions

  • Place blueberries, maple syrup, ginger, and lemon juice in a small pan. Cook over low heat until berries are soft.
  • Place the mixture in a blender and blend until smooth and let sit until room temperature.
  • Pour over ice in a glass, add sparkling water, a fresh lemon slice, and enjoy.
