Instructions
Place dates in a bowl and just cover in hot water. Let soak until softened.
Place dates in a food processor with the water and blend until mostly smooth. Add the dates and all other ingredients (except the whole or half pecans).
Prepare a cookie sheet. Create ping-pong-sized balls with the dough and place them on the sheet. Press gently with a fork and add a whole or half pecan on top, if desired. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
