Crazy-Good Cranberry Sauce

Don't limit this amazing sauce to holidays. It goes well with dishes throughout the year.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp cranberries
  • tsp ginger root peel and grate or mince
  • 1 ¼ tsp orange juice no sugar added, concentrate preferred
  • ¼ orange seedless (like cuties or clementines)
  • 2 tbsp water
  • honey optional

Instructions

  • Put water into a pot and add fresh cranberries.
  • Add the orange juice concentrate into the water and stir
  • Peel and cut the orange into bite-size pieces. Drop them into the water and stir.
  • Add in minced ginger. Stir again until well-distributed
  • Put a lid on your pot and put it on medium heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  • Let cool, and serve!

Notes

*if cranberries are still too tart for you at the end, you can add a tbsp of honey at the end to sweeten it up a bit :)
