Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • ½ inch ginger root peeled and cut up into chunks
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • ½ tsp honey optional
  • tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • In a small pot, add all the ingredients and spices into the pot. Put pot over medium heat, and then allow milk to simmer.
  • Cook for about 2 minutes and continue stirring the mixture so it doesn’t burn. Remove ginger chunks.
  • Take off heat, pour into mugs, and enjoy!
