Mix squash with a pinch of sea salt.
Compact the squash in your hands to form a "hash brown-like" patty. Use a kitchen towel or paper towel to help squeeze out any extra moisture from each patty.
Heat a skillet up to medium heat, and add coconut oil. When oil is hot, gently add a couple of patties to the pan.
Pan-fry each side of the patties for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown and thoroughly heated all the way through.
