Cilantro Lime Sauce

To use this dressing, simply drizzle it over your favorite salads, grilled meats, seafood, or vegetables for a burst of fresh flavor. This dressing also makes a delicious dipping sauce for appetizers like spring rolls or chicken skewers.

Ingredients

  • ¼ jalapeño pepper stem and seeds removed
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • 1 ½ tsp lime juice fresh squeezed
  • cup milk you can use cashew milk or plain yogurt for a thicker sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  
  • After you remove the stem and seeds from jalapeño, wrap it in foil and put in a hot oven for 15 minutes.
  • Place jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and milk in a blender and blend until smooth.
