Ingredients

  • ½ tomato Heirlooms are a great option
  • 1 ½ tsp red onion diced
  • 1 ½ tbsp mozzarella fresh, cubed
  • 1 tbsp basil fresh
  • 1 ½ tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 ½ tsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cut tomatoes into thick slices (approximately 4 slices/tomato).
  • Place the tomatoes on a platter. Cover tomatoes with onions, mozzarella, and basil.
  • Drizzle with vinegar and oil. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
