Granola Bites (Protein Balls)
These are a great protein-packed treat that is easy to take along wherever you are heading!

- ¼ cup oats you can toast in the oven or just leave raw
- 2 tbsp nuts I like them chopped up a bit - pecans and almonds are my fave
- 1 tbsp peanut butter natural; no added sugar
- 1 ½ tsp flax seed ground
- 1 ½ tsp cacao powder this is better for you than cocoa powder
- 1 ½ tsp coconut oil melted
- 2 ¼ dates pitted, soak them in hot water for a few minutes and then drain
Get Recipe Ingredients
Once the dates have soaked, put them in a food processor and pulse until they almost form the consistency of dough.
Put the date mixture in a bowl and add all the other ingredients.
Roll the mixture into golf ball sized balls and put them in an airtight container. Store them in the refrigerator.
