10-Minute Salmon and Asparagus

This is the best salmon ever... so simple and easy but so incredibly good! This is a wonderful quick meal and a great meal prep idea.

Ingredients

  • 1 wild salmon filet fresh-caught, skin removed
  • 4 spears asparagus hard ends cut off
  • 1 ½ tsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp seasoning pick your favorite; I recommend McCormick’s Culinary Selects, Cedar Citrus Seafood seasoning
  • lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425º.
  • Place the salmon and the asparagus on a baking sheet. Brush the olive oil on the salmon and asparagus evenly. Salt it all to taste. Sprinkle your favorite, or my recommended seasoning, on the salmon.
  • Cook for 7 minutes at 425º.
  • Turn the oven to broil and continue cooking for two more minutes. The salmon should be very moist and flaky. Serve.
