Ingredients

  • 1 wild salmon filet (fresh-caught, skin removed)
  • 4 spears asparagus (hard ends cut off)
  • 1 ½ tsp olive oil
  • salt (to taste)
  • ¼ tsp seasoning (pick your favorite; I recommend McCormick’s Culinary Selects, Cedar Citrus Seafood seasoning)
  • lemon (slices for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425º.
  • Place the salmon and the asparagus on a baking sheet. Brush the olive oil on the salmon and asparagus evenly. Salt it all to taste. Sprinkle your favorite, or my recommended seasoning, on the salmon.
  • Cook for 7 minutes at 425º.
  • Turn the oven to broil and continue cooking for two more minutes. The salmon should be very moist and flaky. Serve.
