Place the chicken in a bowl.
Put the remaining ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend.
Pour sauce over chicken, refrigerate, and let marinade for at least an hour and up to 12 hours.
Heat grill and cook skin side up over low heat for 15 min. Flip and cook until chicken is cooked through. An alternative is to bake in preheated oven at 375° for 30-45 min.
