Ingredients
- 5 oz black beans (drained and rinsed)
- â…“ cup quinoa (cooked)
- â…“ egg
- â…™ cup breadcrumbs (get organic if possible)
- salt and pepper (to taste )
- 1/12 cup green onions (diced)
- 1 tsp oil (avocado or grape seed if possible)
Instructions
- Rinse and drain the beans.
- Cook quinoa according to package, and then mix together with beans, breadcrumbs and egg.
- Put mixture into a food processor or blender, and pulse/blend until coarse.
- Take out of blender and place into a bowl. Stir salt and pepper and green onion into the mixture.
- Put oil into a pan, and turn on to medium heat. Once hot, form mixture into burger patty shapes and cook them over medium-high heat until brown on both sides.
