Isn't "JOY ALWAYS" something you desire? 1 Thessalonians 5:16 tells us we should "Always be joyful". What's holding so many of us back from feeling joy and peace? Could it be that you are trying to please others and live up to their expectations for you?
We need to turn to god alone to learn who we are and how we are to live.
Check out these Bible Verses and put them into memory:
John 1:12 - "But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God."1 Thessalonians 2:4 - "Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts."Galatians 1:10 - "Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant."
