This pesto adds a burst of Mediterranean goodness to pasta, sandwiches, pizzas, and more!

Ingredients 

  • ¼ cup kale
  • ½ cup basil
  • 1 clove garlic (peeled and roasted)
  • 2 tbsp walnuts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Pour olive oil into a small pan. Add garlic and cook over med. Heat until just golden, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Add all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
