Ingredients
- 1 cup raw cabbage (chopped)
- 2 tbsp green onions (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- ⅓ cup carrots (sliced)
- 1 cup vegetable broth (can substitute chicken or bone broth)
- 3 oz corned beef
- ⅓ tsp fennel seed
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Put broth into a pot.
- Add diced cabbage, minced garlic, and carrots. Cook until until vegetables are soft (cook on medium heat, approx. 10 minutes).
- Add green onions, corned beef (you can buy from the deli or cook a corned beef at home), fennel seed, and cayenne. Simmer for 5 additional minutes, then serve.
- Is great with some hot sauce on top
