Child of a King
Remember Who You Are in Christ
I am a child of God. I am loved, chosen, and accepted by Him. My identity is not determined by my past, my mistakes, my appearance, or what others think of me. My identity is found in Jesus Christ.
I am loved. Nothing can separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. His love isn't something I have to earn, and it doesn't disappear when I fall short. (Romans 8:38–39)
I am forgiven. Because of Jesus, I can confess my sins, receive forgiveness, and stop carrying the guilt and shame of my past. (1 John 1:9)
I am a new creation. My past is part of my story, but it doesn't define who I am today. In Christ, I have been made new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
I am chosen. God chose me in Christ before the foundation of the world. I belong to Him, and my life has purpose. (Ephesians 1:4–5)
I am God's workmanship. I am not an accident or a mistake. God created me with intention and has prepared good things for me to do. (Ephesians 2:10)
I am never alone. God is with me through every challenge, disappointment, and difficult season. I can turn to Him for strength and comfort. (Hebrews 13:5)
I am not condemned. Because I belong to Jesus, I don't have to live under the weight of condemnation. His grace gives me the freedom to acknowledge my mistakes, turn from sin, and keep growing. (Romans 8:1)
I am wonderfully made. God knows me completely. He created me with care, and I can appreciate the person He made me to be. (Psalm 139:13–14)
I am being transformed. I don't have to be perfect today. God is continuing His work in me, helping me become more like Jesus. (Philippians 1:6)
I am free. Through Jesus, I can experience freedom from the lies, fears, and shame that have held me back. (John 8:36)
Today, I Choose to Believe God's Truth
I will not allow shame to tell me who I am.
I can acknowledge my mistakes without calling myself a failure.
I can recognize my weaknesses without believing I am worthless.
I can accept God's forgiveness instead of continuing to punish myself.
I can be honest about my struggles because I know God loves me and wants me to grow.
I am not defined by what I've done, what has happened to me, or what others have said about me.
I am a child of the King.
And today, I choose to live like I believe it.
