As I shared yesterday, change is easier when we include God in our plans, and it gets even better when we bring a few other people along for the ride. We like to think we should be able to handle everything on our own, but most habits stick better when someone else knows what we’re working on.

There’s something powerful about saying your intention out loud. When you tell someone, “Hey, this is what I’m trying to do,” it moves the habit from an idea in your head to something real. It doesn’t have to be a big announcement. It can be a simple text to a friend or a quick conversation over coffee.

Accountability doesn’t mean pressure. It means support. Someone who checks in, cheers you on, or reminds you why you started on the days your motivation dips. And sometimes the best accountability comes from doing it together. A walking buddy. A workout partner. Someone who’s also trying to eat better or be more consistent with their time with God.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.” I see that truth play out all the time in this community. When we walk together, the journey feels lighter, and the habits last longer.

So today, reach out. Tell someone what you’re working on. Ask for support. You don’t have to do this perfectly, and you definitely don’t have to do it alone.
