DAY 7

So many of us try to make healthy changes while carrying quiet lies that work against us. I’m too old to change. I’ve failed too many times. These thoughts can feel true, but they aren’t. Change doesn’t depend on your age or your past. It depends on what you believe is possible today. Your past attempts don’t disqualify you. They’ve taught you. Growth isn’t about having a perfect track record. It’s about being willing to begin again.

Another powerful lie many women carry is I’m not worthy. But here’s the truth: you will only care for your health to the level you believe you are worthy of care. Self-care isn’t selfish. It’s foundational. When you invest in your body, mind, and heart, you show up more fully for the people you love.

Progress is made by standing back up, again and again. This Kickstart isn’t about never messing up. It’s about learning how to move forward by replacing lies with truth.

Something to Think About:

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” ~ 1 Corinthians 10:31

How can this verse help you to make healthier choices?

Something to Listen To:

Set A Fire by Will Regan and United Pursuit Band

This is one of my all-time favorite songs. I hope you'll listen and let the lyrics soak in.

Nutrition Tip:

One simple way to support healthy eating is to make your environment work for you. What you see and what’s easy to grab often determines what you eat. I try to keep washed fruit on the counter, cut vegetables ready in the fridge, and protein options easy to access. When nourishing food is already prepared and visible, you’re far more likely to choose it. This isn’t about willpower. It’s about setting yourself up well. Small, thoughtful choices like this can make healthy eating feel simpler and more sustainable.
