Ingredients 

  • ¼ tsp ginger root (fresh, peeled and minced)
  • ¼ mango (peeled)
  • ¾ tsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • tsp cinnamon
  • 1/16 tsp turmeric
  • 1/16 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 ½ tsp water

Instructions 

  • Chop the peeled mango into small, bite-sized pieces and place into a small pot.
  • Add in lime juice, ginger, turmeric, cayenne, cinnamon, and water. Simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes.
  • Take the chutney off the heat, mash up the softened fruit until it becomes a chunky texture. Spread.
