Ingredients 

  • 3 tbsp cranberries
  • tsp ginger root (peel and grate or mince)
  • 1 ¼ tsp orange juice (no sugar added, concentrate preferred)
  • ¼ orange (seedless (like cuties or clementines))
  • 2 tbsp water
  • honey (optional)

Instructions 

  • Put water into a pot and add fresh cranberries.
  • Add the orange juice concentrate into the water and stir
  • Peel and cut the orange into bite-size pieces. Drop them into the water and stir.
  • Add in minced ginger. Stir again until well-distributed
  • Put a lid on your pot and put it on medium heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  • Let cool, and serve!

Notes

*if cranberries are still too tart for you at the end, you can add a tbsp of honey at the end to sweeten it up a bit 🙂
