Ingredients
Pie Crust
- ⅛ cup walnuts (can substitute pecans)
- ¼ tbs coconut oil (melted)
- ⅜ tsp butter
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ⅛ cup oats
- 1 tbsp flour (reserve 1/3 for crumble topping)
- ¼ tsp pure maple syrup
Filling
- ½ apple (peeled, cut up and diced)
- ⅛ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp pure maple syrup
Instructions
- To create the crust, add coconut oil, butter, cinnamon, flour, and maple syrup into a blender and blend well.
- Scoop the dough from the blender and spread 3/4 into a baking dish.
- Top the dough base with apples and drizzle maple syrup over the apples.
- Cover the apples with the remaining dough and cook for 30 minutes.
