Chimichurri sauce is a versatile condiment that can be used to enhance the flavor of dishes such as meats, vegetables, sandwiches, and grain bowls.

Ingredients 

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ tsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano (option 1/2 tsp dried)
  • ½ clove garlic
  • ¾ tsp red chili pepper (seeded, finely chopped)

Instructions 

  • Put a splash of oil in a pan over high heat. Add garlic and cook until golden brown stirring to make sure it it cooks on all sides.
  • Put the remaining oil, lime juice, parsley, oregano, chilis, as well as the sauted garlic in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped. Enjoy.
