Ingredients
- 3 tbsp cranberries
- ⅛ tsp ginger root (peel and grate or mince)
- 1 ¼ tsp orange juice (no sugar added, concentrate preferred)
- ¼ orange (seedless (like cuties or clementines))
- 2 tbsp water
- honey (optional)
Instructions
- Put water into a pot and add fresh cranberries.
- Add the orange juice concentrate into the water and stir
- Peel and cut the orange into bite-size pieces. Drop them into the water and stir.
- Add in minced ginger. Stir again until well-distributed
- Put a lid on your pot and put it on medium heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
- Let cool, and serve!
Notes
*if cranberries are still too tart for you at the end, you can add a tbsp of honey at the end to sweeten it up a bit
