Ingredients
Crust
- ¼ tsp yeast
- ¼ cup water (warm - about 110º)
- ¾ cups flour
- 4 tsp parmesan cheese
Sauce
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
Toppings
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
- ¼ tsp dried oregano
- 1 clove garlic (finely sliced or minced)
- 1 handful spinach
- 4 tsp mushrooms (sliced)
- ¼ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 4 tsp Kalamata olives (optional topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400º F.
- In a mixing bowl, add warm water and yeast and stir until it’s dissolved. Let it set for 5 minutes. Add flour (you can use gluten-free flour if you like) and the Parmesan cheese and knead until well mixed.
- Grease & lightly flour a cooking stone or cookie sheet. Form a crust with the dough (as circular as you can). Cook the crust for 10 minutes.
- Take the crust out of the oven and spread the tomato paste onto the crust until about 1/2" from the edge.
- Sprinkle the dried oregano, garlic, mushrooms, olives, and crushed red pepper, onto the sauce and finish with a layer of spinach and cheese.
- Put the pizza back in the oven at 400º F. and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese starts to brown. Serve and enjoy!
