Ingredients
Filling
- ¼ cup celery (diced)
- ¼ cup red pepper (diced)
- ¼ cup peas
- ¼ cup yellow onion (diced)
- â…– lb ground beef (grass-fed preferred)
- 3 oz tomato paste
- ½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce (gf options available )
- ½ tbsp dried basil
Topping
- 1 cup cauliflower (cooked)
- ¼ cup milk
- â…™ cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Cook the ground beef in a pan on the stovetop, chopping as it browns. Set aside.
- Heat a large frying pan on medium or medium-high. Add in all the vegetables (celery, red pepper, Â peas, and yellow onion) and cook until done. Leave in pan and set aside.
- In separate mixing bowl add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dried basil and stir.
- Put beef, vegetables, and tomato paste mixture together and stir well. Â Then, scoop the mixture into a prepared baking dish.
- For the topping, blend cooked cauliflower, with milk, cheese. Cover the veggie/meat mixture with the cauliflower mixture and then put in oven and cook for 30 minutes.
