Instructions

  1. Put sausage and garlic in a pot and completely cook the sausage.
  2. Add sliced potatoes and chicken broth into pot and cook over medium heat for 15 min. or until potatoes are slightly soft.
  3. Add chopped kale and milk to the pot. Cover and cook until kale is wilted. I can make a meal out of this soup!!

    Sure! Brown the sausage with the garlic in a skillet, then transfer it to the crock pot with the potatoes, broth, salt, and pepper. Cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours until the potatoes are tender. Stir in the kale and milk during the last 20–30 minutes of cooking, then serve warm.

    This is part of Meal Plan 7 (Day Two)---commenting on this recipe because the breakfast recipe for this day is 'missing' (gives a not found error message) - the Almond Butter Smoothie Bowl. Tried to find separately by searching all recipes but could not locate it.

    Another delicious, simple to make meal! Next time I'll make sure to use mild sausage....I had hot! So....I added sauerkraut to mine. Yum!
