Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups fresh basil (bottom portion of stems removed)
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
- 2 cloves garlic (peeled)
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- â…“ cup walnuts (shelled)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- â…“ cup vegetable broth (amount may vary add slowly)
Instructions
- Put all ingredients into a blender and pulse until somewhat smooth.
Notes
This makes 1 1/2 cups and can be stored in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.Â
