Ingredients
- ¼ tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp diced onion
- ¾ tsp garlic
- ¼ link Italian sausage (4-5 ounces, spicy Italian sausage)
- ¼ cup great northern beans
- 1 cup kale
- 8 oz chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- optional: fresh herbs
Instructions
- Put oil in a pan. Turn to med/high heat. Add onion, garlic and sausage. Cook for about 10 min.
- Add beans, broth, kale, salt and pepper. Cover and cook an additional 5 min.

One of my favorite recipes and so easy to make. Honestly I hadn’t really tried kale much before but in this out it’s great and I feel so healthy

A new favorite! Even my husband liked it with the kale! The only thing he said is he would like more beans in it.
