Ingredients
- 1 ¼ apples (sliced thin)
- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp apple pie spice
- â…› cup almonds (slivered; optional)
- unsweetened coconut flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a pan over the stovetop and transfer to a bowl. Add sliced apples to the bowl and mix.
- Transfer the butter-covered apples to an air fryer (390º), and cook for 10-15 minutes or until desired doneness. Stir or flip apples halfway through cooking. Option: bake the apples in the oven on a cooking sheet at 325º for 25 minutes.
- Toast slivered almonds in a pan on the stovetop until slightly browned.Â
- Top the apples with the toasted almonds and unsweetened coconut flake.
