  • 1 tsp of fresh ginger root, peeled and minced
  • 1 mango peeled
  • 1 tblsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp tumeric
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp of water


Chop up your peeled mango into small, bite-sized piece and place into a small pot. Add in lime juice, 1 tsp of ginger, turmeric and cayenne and cinnamon and water and simmer for about 15 minutes. Take the chutney off the heat, mash up the softened fruit until more of a consistent, chunky texture. Spread on crackers, grilled meats, baked brie, etc. and enjoy!
